We define regional anaesthesia as per the Royal College of Anaesthetists. This includes all forms of neuraxial anaesthesia and nerve blocks. We anticipate that our regional anaesthesia framework could be used for trials evaluating regional techniques to deliver anaesthestic or analgesic drugs, as well as other drugs such as steroids.
